What is Lockheart Legacy?
Lockheart Legacy is an ARPG (Art Roleplay Game) where you "play" through art and writing. Your creative entries will reward you with in-game currency, EXP, and items, which you can use to create and upgrade your own characters!What are Minikin?
Minikin are the playable characters of this ARPG. They are a closed species: a type of original species where creating your own characters required a MYO (Make Your Own) item.Site Registration

Lockheart Legacy is a 13+ ARPG! Registering before you are 13 is considered a violation of the ToS.

It is recommended to use a Gmail account when registering. A confirmation email will arrive within 24 hours.

Link your Toyhouse and/or DeviantArt accounts as aliases from the Settings menu.
No character? No problem!
If you are a FTO (First Time Owner) and don't have a Minikin yet, there are still plenty of ways to play!
Use NPCs
The majority of prompts allow you to use NPCs or others' characters in place of your own! This status will be specified in the prompt category's description as well as in the prompt itself.Acquiring your first Minikin
There are a variety of ways to acquire your first Minikin character or MYO!01. FTO Questline
Keep an eye out for our upcoming FTO questline, which allows players to earn a MYO while also becoming immersed in the world!02. MYO Events
We host a free MYO event annually in October to celebrate our anniversary! Other events throughout the year may also include MYO items or even premade Minikin as prizes.03. Raffles

Minikin designed by spectralswan or Guest Artists can be purchased with real money from official site sales! Additionally, MYOs are always available for purchase over on Ko-Fi.What can i do onsite?
01. Prompts
Drawing and writing prompts is the primary mechanic of the ARPG! We highly recommend prioritizing the 12 Cat Questlines to unlock important lore and crafting recipes. Plus, they're fun!02. Dungeons
(UPCOMING) Dungeons are a custom-coded extension exclusive to our ARPG! You will venture into Elara's dreams with your Minikin, encountering enemies, loot, and puzzles along the way. Your Minikin's level and stats matter, so make sure to gear up before you begin a run! For more information, see this guide.
03. Bartholomew's tithe
Bartholomew's Tithe is a community-wide effort! If the Tithe is fulfilled in time, a randomized bonus is activated for the following month. If not, there will be a fun little punishment. You can contribute through prompt submissions, various items, and simply checking in daily! For more information, see this guide.
04. Daily Scavenge
Check back every day to explore the Manor! Scavenging is a free daily activity that rewards you with crafting ingredients, materials, pets, and more. Note that most items obtainable through scavenging are also available through the general shop or as prompt rewards!
05. collect & Craft
There's lots to do with items! Items such as pets and cosmetic gear items, can simply be collected and displayed on your Minikin's profiles. Many can also be used in recipes to craft treats and trinkets, which can then be donated to Bartholomew's Tithe for points or redeemed for rare traits. You will begin with several recipes already unlocked to you, and 24 additional base recipes are unlockable through the Cat Questlines!
